The Complete Peregrino Collection
About The Collection
Inspired by the journeys that bring us growth. The Peregrino Collection pays is dedicated to the Spanish and Italian immigrants that taught our patriarch, Jose Luis Rocha the first, the ways of leather artisanry. Peregrino, meaning Pilgrim in English, is an ode to The Way of St. James–also known as El Camino de Santiago.
The Camino, or The Way, is a network of pilgrims' ways leading to the shrine of the apostle James. Located in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, where tradition holds that the remains of the apostle are buried, pilgrims follow its routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. While many routes exist on the way of St. James, Peregrinos must walk a minimum of 100 kilometers to earn a Compostela–the certificate of accomplishment given to pilgrims on completing The Way.
Our “Peregrino” collection pays homage to the brave, humble and curious explorers of the world, whether following faith, seeking adventures or longing for impossible dreams our products are named after characters we admired. Lets all try to emulate and follow their footsteps.
Happy Travels.
