Pope Francis doesn't like my shoes

As you all may know, Pope Emeritus Benedict liked our shoes, so much that he declared he will be using them in retirement. 

Now we have a new Pope, birth name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio from Argentina, a country located at the south-end of South America, known for its food, wine, soccer and sense of style.

Somehow, Pope Francis is not interested in fashion or even in dressing according to his importance, as he is one of the most influential people in the world.

Contrary to what some people may think, I love Francis; I love that he doesn’t care for shoes, I think he is the coolest person alive!

I was born Catholic and my family has been Catholic for generations. Just like many Mexicans, we attended Church every Sunday and prayed every night, but as a matter of fact that made me more critical of my religion, a religion I founded constricted and severe. 

Pope Francis is changing that for me. He tweets, he addresses contemporary problems in our culture, and he apologizes for the mistakes of the Church! If there is a definition of a great person in any religion, it is Pope Francis. 

We should all try to be a little be like Francis, we should pursue a higher standard for ourselves, let’s be honest, happy, compassionate and do our best, always.
